National Team Highlights
The most-capped goalkeeper in U.S. history.
Started the semifinal and third-place match at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China.
Rejoined the National Team for the 2006 residency program. Also participated in the 2007 residency program.
Took 2005 off to deal with her father's passing in 2004 and to contemplate retirement.
Played every minute of the 2004 Olympics as the U.S. won the gold medal.
Reclaimed the starting spot in 2003 and played every minute of the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup. The loss in the semifinals to Germany broke a streak of 35 straight games without a loss (31-0-4), which began on 1999.05.02. Won the 100th game of her career against Canada in the Third-Place Game.
Started four of the USA's five games at the 2002 Women's Gold Cup to help the U.S. qualify for the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Played in her first National Team match in almost two years on 2002.07.21 after not appearing for the U.S. since 2000.08.20.

Started every game at the 1994 CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament as the U.S. earned a berth in the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Helped the Beat to the 2002 playoffs while starting 18 games and recorded a 1.33 goals against average with six shutouts. Named Second-Team All-WUSA and as a reserve on the WUSA South All-Star team.
Started all 19 regular-season games she appeared in during 2001 and posted a 0.82 goals against average and seven shutouts while helping the Beat reach the 2001 WUSA Championship Game. Named Second-Team All-WUSA.

Played at the University of Massachusetts 1990-1993.
Posted 37 shutouts in 65 career starts. Finished with a 48-13-4 career record and a 0.56 goals against average.
Won two national goalkeeper of the year awards as a senior in 1993. Named Second-Team NSCAA All-American. Helped UMass to the NCAA semifinals and the Atlantic 10 regular-season and tournament titles. Started all 23 games and recorded 15 shutouts and a 0.48 goals against average, third best in the nation.
Split time in the nets in 1992. Started 13 games in goal and posted 7 shutouts. Also started three games at forward.
As a sophomore in 1991, started all 19 games and recorded 12 shutouts while allowing just nine goals.
