A member of the 2004 Olympic residency program, she was an alternate on the 2004 Olympic team.
Played in two games at the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup, starting against North Korea.

Bolstered by a solid WUSA season, she returned to the National Team on 2002.07.21 against Norway, getting the start at defensive midfielder. The match was her first start since 1999.09.04.

A founding player, she played for the Carolina Courage.
Played every minute of all 18 games she played in 2003, registering two assists on the season and served as the Courage's captain. Was named to the All-WUSA Second Team.
Started 19 games for the Courage in 2002, scoring one goal with four assists and helped the Courage to the WUSA Championship. Voted as a starter to the WUSA South All-Star Team.
Started all 21 games for the Courage in 2001.
Collegiate Highlights
Played at the University of North Carolina from 1995-1998 and won NCAA titles in 1996 and 1997.
As a senior in 1998, started all 26 games and scored three goals with 12 assists while helping UNC to an undefeated regular season and a berth into the NCAA Championship game. She finished third in voting for both the 1998 Hermann Trophy and M.A.C. Player of the Year Award.
Started all 28 games for the Tar Heels as a junior in 1997, scoring seven goals with 11 assists while helping the Tar Heels to the NCAA title. Was named First-Team All-ACC.
Battled through injuries in 1996 while helping UNC to the NCAA championship and scoring nine goals with 15 assists.
