National Team Highlights
  • Started five of the six matches at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China and came off the bench in the other. Scored the game-tying goal against North Korea and also tallied against Norway in the third-place match.
  • Participated in the 2007 and 2006 residency programs.
  • Registered the first multi-goal game of her career on 2006.03.11 when she scored a pair of goals against Denmark in a 5-0 win.
  • Named U.S. Soccer's Young Female Athlete of the Year in 2004.
  • A member of the 2004 Olympic residency program, she made a late run to win an Olympic roster spot as the team's youngest player and came off the bench four times in Greece. In the semifinal against Germany, she scored the game-winner in overtime off an assist from Mia Hamm to help the U.S. to a 2-1 win.
  • Broke her left fibula in a collision with Ireland's goalkeeper while scoring a goal just 74 seconds into the game on 2003.06.14 and did not sufficiently recover in time to make the 2003 Women's World Cup squad.

    Youth National Team Highlights
  • Scored four goals and seven assists to help the U.S. win the inaugural 2002 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship.
  • Played in all three matches during 2002 U-19 CONCACAF Qualifying and scored seven goals with four assists.
  • Scored 18 goals in 18 career matches the U-19s.
  • Helped the U-21s to the 2005 Nordic Cup title while scoring four goals.

    Collegiate Highlights
  • Played for North Carolina from 2003-2006 and won NCAA titles in 2003 and 2006. Earned First-Team NSCAA All-American honors in 2006 and 2004, Second-Team NSCAA All-American status in 2005 and Third-Team NSCAA All-American honors in 2003 and was a three-time First-Team All-ACC selection (2004-2006).
  • Named the 2006 College Cup Most Outstanding Offensive Player after scoring the opening goal and assisting on the game-winner in the final and scoring the clinching goal in the semifinal.
  • As a senior, she won the 2007 Honda Soccer Award and the 2006 NSCAA Scholar Athlete of the Year Award and was the runner-up for the 2006 M.A.C. Hermann Trophy, which she lost by a single point, while scoring 12 goals and 16 assists on the year.
  • Led the Tar Heels with 18 goals and 11 assists as a junior and was named the 2005 ACC Offensive Player of the Year.
  • A finalist for the 2004 M.A.C. Hermann Trophy Award as a sophomore, she led the Tar Heels with 13 goals and 11 assists.
  • Hampered early in 2003 by her recovery from a broken leg suffered while playing with the National Team, she came on strong towards the end of her freshman season to score 16 goals and 11 assists. She scored in all six of UNC's NCAA matches to help lead the Tar Heels to the NCAA title and a perfect 27-0-0 record. Named the Offensive MVP of the College Cup after she scored twice in the NCAA title game and once in the semifinal.
