National Team Highlights
  • Started all six games at the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup.
  • Played every minute of the 1994 CONCACAF Women's Qualifying Tournament to help the U.S. qualify for the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup.
  • Recovered from a torn ACL suffered at the 1990 NCAA Final Four in time to make the 1991 FIFA Women's World Championship team. Came off the bench for an injured Kristine Lilly against Sweden in the tournament opener and then played every minute of the rest of the world championship.

    Collegiate Highlights
  • Played for the University of North Carolina in 1990 and helped the Tar Heels to the NCAA Championship. Tore her ACL in the semifinals of the 1990 NCAA Final Four, but still competed in the final against UConn.
  • Played for N.C. State from 1987-1989 and helped State to the NCAA Final Four in 1988 and 1989.
  • Named a Third-Team All-American in 1987, a First-Team All-American in 1988 and a Second-Team All-American in 1989 and 1990.
  • Earned ACC Player of the Year honors in 1988.
