Downshift
Just a quick note to let any dedicated visitors who remain know that daily link postings will not be returning to ooosasoccer.com. I will, however, attempt to keep the National Team archive database alive and well. Adding in the 2008 stats is on my to-do list.
Why this change? Plain and simple: Time - there's just not enough of it.
If for some unbeknown reason, you would like to continue to read the content I'm kicking out on women's soccer, head over to womensprosoccer.com, home of Women's Professional Soccer. I recently accepted a position with WPS that includes producing features for the league's website. Soon we'll be launching a blog that offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the birth of the league, and which may evolve into touching upon other issues and areas. At least initially, I'll largely be authoring that blog.
It’s exciting for me to be a part of WPS’s launch. A lot of work, thought and passion are being poured into making Women’s Professional Soccer a success. If you have ideas or suggestions for us, shoot them to feedback@womensprosoccer.com.
To conclude, a big thanks for your readership over the past year! Keep cheering on the USWNT as it prepares for and competes in the Beijing Games and get ready for WPS!
